Various Internet Services Affiliate Programs
- Driveway -
Driveway (formerly Atrieva) offers online data backup and file sharing. They
pay $1 for each person who signs up for a free account. The affiliate program
is administered by Linkshare, which offers online stats updated daily.
Payments are monthly on amounts over $200. I have been told they will soon
lower this to $100. If you have the right audience, this could be a nice
program.
- ActiveEC - ActiveEC is
"Shopping Cart" software for web sites needing e-commerce capabilities. The
affiliates program offers 50 cents for each legitimate lead, and $100 to $200
per sale. Payments are made monthly on amounts over $5 for leads, while
commissions for sales are paid out within five working days. Online stats are
provided.
- qSound.com - Qsound.com
offers 33% commissions through their affiliate program. They offer products to
improve the quality of sound for Internet streaming audio. They also offer a
commission for further referrals that sell at least $50 worth of their
products. They pay monthly on amounts over 50$, and only accept affiliates
with at least 10,000 visitors monthly.
- Ah-Ha.com - Ah-Ha.com is an
Internet search engine. They offer an affiliates program that pays commissions
based upon page views by visitors you refer to their site. The offer online
stats through Commission Junction, and pay monthly.
- SearchUp -
SearchUp is a search engine submission service. They offer a 20% commission on
sales and pay quarterly on amounts of $25 or more.
- AWeber - This is an
autoresponder service for online business users. Their affiliates program pays
a 20% commission on amounts over $20 with payments issued monthly. AMounts
under $20 are rolled over. Affiliates can earn 10% for second-level sales.
Real-time online stats are provided. This appears to be the same program as
Autocontacter, with the difference being you do not have to become a customer
to sign up for the affiliates program.
- Business Web - This is
an Internet search engine submission service. Their affiliates program pays
15% commission on sales. They pay monthly on amounts over $30. They do provide
online stats.
- Domain Name Reserve -
This is a domain name registration service with a few other services such as
email and website forwarding. Their affiliates program offers 10% to 30%
commissions and pays monthly. Up-to-the-minute stats are provided but they are
very basic.
- Verio/Tabnet - This affiliates
program is administered by Linkshare, which is it's biggest problem, and offers
a $25 fee for each domain registered. Linkshare is supposed to provide
real-time stats, but I have found them to be unreliable and completely
unresponsive when problems occur.
- Network Solutions
- Network Solutions is commonly referred to as "Internic" and is the central
source for registering domain names. Their affiliates program offers a 10
percent commission and offers online stats. They pay quarterly on amounts over
$100.
- Direct Hit Search
Engine - Direct Hit allows you to place a search box on your web pages and
get paid 3 cents whenever a search is executed. The program is administered
through BeFree, which provides stats in real-time. They pay out quarterly. The
biggest problem with this program is that they insist on limiting how you link
to them - you can only use their exact code - and they do not even allow you
to reference their company without getting permission first. Is this program
run by the federal government? No, just by lawyers...I'll pass.
- Rapid URL
- This affiliates program pay either by the click or per sign-up. But you must
be a customer to participate.
- Net Nation - Net Nation
offers their affiliate program through Linkshare, a program I have had many
problems with. They offer "up to 50%" commissions. There appears to be no
operating agreement...not recommended.
