Miscellaneous and Shopping Affiliate Programs
- Bottom Dollar - This is a
search engine to compare product prices on computer hardware and software,
electronics, music, and lots more. This is a pay per click program that I was
disapointed with. The biggest problem is that they only report stats via email
once a week. They did seem very willing to work with me, and payments were
made promptly. The service is nice and can be easily integrated into many
types of web sites. Payments are made once a month on amounts over $20.
- Shoplet.com -
This site sells books, software, games, and hardware online. Many of the
software items are downloadable. Online stats are updated daily. Commissions
vary depending on the item, with software games paying a high of 10 percent,
and computer hardware paying a low of 3%. Books sales pay an 8% commission. A
nice touch is that they do allow you to use images and other info from their
site to promote their products. You can link directly or use their search
engine. Online stats are updated daily, and commissions are paid quarterly on
amounts over $100. Except for this amount, which is very high, and the
quarterly payments, which should be monthly (especially with this high of a
minimum payout), this program looks very promising for larger sites.
- Art.com - Art.com's affiliates program
offer a 15% commission on sales of their art products. They pay monthly on
amounts over $50, with a lag of several months before the first payout.
- Life Extension
Foundation - This affiliate program pays a 15 percent commission on the
initial sale, and 5 percent on additional purchases. Payments are made
quarterly, and online stats are provided.
- New Spirit Jewelers
- This affiliates program offers a 10% commission on all items sold "for life
on anything they buy anytime they buy, as long as you're an active Affiliate."
Their average sale is around $75. Online stats are provided. They pay on a
monthly basis.
- Diamond-Club.com - This
affiliates program pays a 3% commission and provides online stats. Payments
are quarterly, and sales are registered 90 days after the purchase.
- E Toys -
eToys.com offers a 25% commission through their affiliates program for
commercial web sites, and 12.5% for personal sites. They do not offer online
stats, only a report via email once a month. They pay out quarterly.
- Spree.com - Spree.com has a
complicated affiliates program with the longest operating agreement I have
seen. You should visit their site if interested and read all the fine print,
and consider their previous bad reputation for trying to take advantage of
their affiliates.
- Fogdog Sports - Fogdog
Sports pays a 10% commission(up to 20% for larger sites) on sales of their
sports gear, apparel, memorabilia, etc. They pay once per quarter on amounts
over $100. Because of the need to generate $100 before being paid, this
program is only recommended for busy sites that are sports-related.
- DDLures.com - DDLures.com
sells all sorts of fishing gear, and they offer a 15% commission on retail
sales, and a 5% commission on bulk sales. Sales reports are only sent out once
a month, though it's suggested you can request a report at any time. Payments
are made once per quarter.
